Light scattering by random media

Interaction of light with random media is one of the important research fields because of various possible applications to chemistry and even biology. A novel method of approach to these problems has been developed. Relations to the random matrix theory has been established and exploited. This gave connection with random processes in solid state physics, like the Anderson localization.
